Want to see the guitar played and smashed at Woodstock by Pete Townshend?
You can this summer at the Museum at Bethel Woods on the site of the actual event. To commemorate the anniversary of the festival, the fine folks at Hard Rock International have put together an exhibit of authentic artifacts from the original Woodstock.
There’s also talk of staging a concert this summer with some of the original artists. Let’s hope it goes better than the ill-fated 30th anniversary show in 1999 that ended in flames and all out debauchery. I left as the vibe turned dark and just before the mayhem ensued with my laminate all-access pass tucked safely away for my collection.
